  • The Waterfall Foundation

    Waterfall Foundation donors gather annually at the Waterfall Resort for The Waterfall Charity Fishing Tournament. Eileen Van Whye, Foundation Chair; Nancy Murkowski, founding Mother of BCDC; and Frank Murkowski, retired U.S. Senator/Governor of Alaska, are long time organizers. BCDC has received major support from the Waterfall Foundation for nearly 30 years.

  • Alaska Department of Health Breast and Cervical Health Check Program

    Support from BCHC enables BCDC to serve Alaskan women who: meet certain income guidelines, who do not have health insurance, who cannot meet their insurance deductible, or whose insurance does not pay for breast cancer screening services.

  • The Alaska Run For Women

    The Alaska Run for Women unites thousands of women from all over Alaska and beyond in one of the largest all-women runs in the country. They are on a mission to raise money for and awareness of breast cancer and women’s health, and to showcase the talents of Alaska’s women athletes. Learn more at Alaska Run for Women

  • The Safeway Foundation

    Local Safeway store employees accept donations at the register and host a fundraising dinner and auction in October. Proceeds from their efforts have been matched by the Safeway Foundation to benefit the Breast Cancer Detection Center of Alaska for 10 years.
